Peter Green

Coach Green is a native to White Hall, MD and now a current Sparks resident. He takes great pride in coaching for Gunpowder. Peter grew up playing for Hereford Rec and understands the importance of proper coaching in developmental stages. Coach Green was a two time State Champion at Hereford High School and an All-State player. He continued his lacrosse career at Stevenson University where he was a 2013 National Champion as well as a Team Captain and All-American. In 2023, he was inducted into the Stevenson Athletics Hall of Fame.

Coach Chris brings decades of lacrosse experience to Gunpowder through his lacrosse playing career spanning Gilman, Hobart College (1972 National Champion), and Chesapeake Lacrosse Club. He is an exceptional teacher of lacrosse fundamentals having coached professionally at UMBC, Penn, McDonogh, and Hereford Rec.
